Abstract

The result shows that the differences happened of ulimate load ratio toward the modulus of rupture (MOR). The value of modulus of elasticity (MOE) and modulus of rupture (MOR) for glulam with 15 mm thickness of lamina of 60 x 60 mm glulam beam is the highest compared with glulam beam with 20 mm, 10 mm thickness of lamina respectively and solid beam, but otherwise glulam with 20 mm thickness of lamina is the lowest. The MOE and MOR of glulam beam with almost the same properties do not always guarantee higher capacity than solid beam. Some glulam beams, failure in the tension side and slip on the glued line on first layer near the tension side happened.
