Abstract

The development of a city will effect the current infrastructure, one of them happens to be the drainage network (building and channel). A rapid city development can cause the changung of land usage from a water permeable terrain to a vast water impermeable terrain and causing a bigger rain water run-off surface. Therefore, the current drainage network capacity needs to be enchaneed further. the problems in big eities like Jakarta are there are very few left empty terrains that can be used to enchance the drainage network enchancement. with regard to it. we can identify some techniques applicable to enchance urban drainage network capacity on limited terrain to such an extent without having to change or add the current network. In this case, we need to identify various techniques than can be used to enchance the drainage network functions. the identified techniiques in enchanging drainage network function can be used as inputs in the development of drainage network in accordance of a city development.
