Inthe rainy season. alot of inundations happen in big cities in indonseia almost very year that give not only material and moral losses, but also serious diseases which require immediate treatment. The occurrence of iinundations in urban areas are caused by many factors. one of them is the decreasing service level of urban drainage management process. Based on the earlier research, there are 6 variables that contribute significantly to the service level of urban drainage such as drainage water management, availability of complete documents, stakeholders participations, infrastructures conditions and function, operatons and maintenaanc performance and nature inferences. Those 6 variabls are futher elaborated into 45 indicators. in this research the 45 indicators are identified and evaluated in order to find out which indicators that their performances need to be improved in order to improve the function of urban drainage system so that is condition could return to normal or near to normal therefore we can reduce inundations. The method used in this research is importance performance method. Based on the answer of 130 respondents, we conclude that: there are 4 indicators with quite good performace need to be retained because of their high importance; there are 21 indicators show goog performaces but they are considered not so very important that their resources need to be associated with order indicators wich have a higher priority in handling process and still require improvement there are 5 indicators with low performance and are also considered less important, so they do not need to be prioritized; there are 145 indicators that their performances are not so satisfacory that those indicators need to be improved because of theirhigh importance
