Femina magazine is one of the print media in Indonesia that has been produced from by , and for Indonesian women for more than 37 years. The diachronic visual structure mapping of Femina magazine's front cover from 1970's period, 1980's period, 2000's period and after 2003's re-fame period, are done to uphold the discourse analysis and to express the image of Indonesian women that represent by visual elements in magazine's front cover. The political, economical, social and cultural situation in a certain time and space will mold the definition of women's characteristic that variably different in a certain era. The visual language in front cover talks about women's image and makes a statement of Femina as an Indonesian women magazins that ongoing with life and technology development, while at the same time holds visual and social cultural ethics and manages to be the representation of Indonesian women as a targer reader
